Old Lobero Theater and Norfolk Star Pine 1878

Pug people..Valentino, Duke and Duchess of Windsor

 They Liked Pugs
And that's the only nice thing to be said about these pretentious bitches.
At one time they were crown jewels on the world stage, arbiters of international taste and style, flirted with Nazis, rubbed dicks with murderers, committed massive insurance fraud.
The Duke and Duchess of Windsor....adventures with Hitler, a gruesome murder in Bermuda, insurance fraud, and pugs.

Dogs in Vogue...Lee Radziwill taken in 1960 with her pug Thomas. ..

Valentino the Pug Man
Valentino takes his pug babies with him everywhere. They fly on private jets and have a dog butler.

The most expensive house in Brooklyn

Or it will be if it sells for the $18 million asking price. The late author lived at 70 Willow St. in Brooklyn Heights for years, writing his most famous works in the very rooms you could now own.
Of course you'll be haunted by a ghost with a very high-pitched voice, which could get annoying. (Though Capote's ghost would, we imagine, be very happy with the house's elite status.) But otherwise, think of the inspiration! And think of the luxury. The Daily News writes:
With 11 fireplaces, parking for four cars, a mural copied from the Kennedy White House, a back porch and a garden like something out of a Southern estate, the Brooklyn Heights mansion is touted as the finest house in the borough's finest neighborhood. "It's like living in a country estate in the middle of New York City," said Karen Heyman, the Sotheby's broker selling the property. "It takes your breath away the minute you walk in."
Here is said Southern estate garden...
$18 million. Oh, Truman. What would Nelle say?
