Guild to honor TV-film veteran Betty White on Saturday

Betty White has lived most of her 88 years in front of the camera, starting in the days when the number of homes in Los Angeles equipped with television sets numbered well under 1,000.
On June 14, 1963, White married television host and personality Allen Ludden, whom she had met on Password. Allen Ludden: Allen Packard Ellsworth (October 5, 1917 – June 9, 1981)
